Sunflower

This is an 1888 painting done by Van Gogh. Many of his images are sunflowers and he felt that he made the sunflower "his" by making each painting unique . I picked this specific portrait of a sunflower because it is similar to what we are doing in class. He zoomed in on one part of the sunflower and gave it all the detail it had. It also said that Van Gogh used many different shades of yellow to create his sunflower images by using many different pigments.
