Cut paper on wall with overhead projection, part of her collection called My Complement, My Enemy, My Oppressor, My Love, which the exhibit traveled from France, New York, California and Texas. We saw one of her works in class as an example of positive and negative space. She is known for her large black and white silhouettes that deal with issues regarding racism, slavery, sex and liberation. In this case it looks like part of the Civil War with burning flames behind them, you can also see flags waving as well.
