Mexican News by Richard Caton Woodville was made in the 19th century. this print of art reflected America during the 19th century. in the picture, businessman reads aloud the newly-arrived newspaper, which the news was Mexico was getting their constitution unified. then the united states annex Texas and acquired California and Oregon, which made Mexico angry and ready for a battle. i like it because it shows expression and shade.
