Claude Monet

This is a painting called "Tulip Fields in Holland" by Claude Monet. This painting was done in 1886. Monet was one of the first to create impressionism paintings, and I chose this one particularly because of the color scheme and the great depth he used. The color in the bottom left where the tulips are depicted is very unique and there is a lot of different colors used. The sky goes from light to dark from left to right with the cloud formations there as well helps depict light to dark. I think it is very well done painting and has a lot of detail, and color.
