This is a line drawing by John Singer Sargent and was made in 1921. It was made using charcoal on brown wove paper. The reason I chose this was because my villa drawing is a line drawing. I wanted to connect something we did in class to something I can blog about. I particularly like this photo because its very simple, of a man sitting down and the lines paint a nice picture .
