This painting is titled Harvest- The Plain of La Crau by Vincent van Gogh. The painting was made in 1888. I found this picture in the textbook, but in there it was a black and white drawing done with reed pen. I think I like it better being in full color. One reason for this is that in the color version the mountains in the background are more clear and stand out. I also think that using color makes grasses in the foreground look better in comparison to the drawn version. He also had good use of warm and cool colors to seperate the foreground and background.
