Weeping Woman

This was done by Pablo Picasso in 1937 by oil and canvas. I liked this image because it uses a lot of color. The first thing I noticed was the blue detail in her hair and that it was next to the other two primary colors, red and yellow. It also uses analagous technique with the green, yellow green, and yellow, on her eyes and around her face and that it spreads into her fingers. Another interesting thing I realized about this image were the geometric shapes that Picasso used in her face as well.
