Fire dancers by Mark Tobey was made on sumi ink and pale gray wash on Japanese paper. this was a painting to show feelings on what Van Gogh called "ardent temperament". even though the picture is black and what, the contrast from the light and dark shows a deep emotion. i like this painting because the objects in the picture doesnt look like people, it look like batches of fire but of course we know fire doesnt dance :)
