This is a synthetic polymer and vinyl paint on canvas done by artist Susan Rothenberg in 1978. I picked this picture becuase when I first saw it, it looked like a white horse emerging from its shadow. To me this photo symbolizes growth and progession in life. It kept me engaged in the photo because of the object on the right side. I feel that most influencial pieces of art always keep the viewers thinking.
